Great post. I also would love to be able to easily point Claude at a Claude conversation link to load and analyze it. Right now conversation sharing is just for humans, but I think the AIs would help us make even better use of them.
I was taking with a friend last night about this very topic (and we got in a bit of a hot debate) but it was about what is “good” writing vs “great” and who ultimately pens these things into being.
One interesting note was how we both realized that the “best” writing isn’t always the writing that gets shared publicly; in fact, most writing never really sees more than a few folks as audience.
Conclusion? Everyone writes. Very few will share those thoughts through a wide gate (like a blog or newsletter), despite the great technologies that make this possible and that allow total anonymity (or pseudonymity) if they do.
I think AI tooling will be similar since it is writing but moved up the chain where it exposes thoughts, not just conclusions; an even scarier idea than published, perfected, branded work!
Everyone will use AI. Most may use it very privately and many will try to find a way to avoid it entirely.
Sounds kind of like "Twitch for authors"
I cut the phrase "TikTok for smart people" because even if accurate it was inflammatory, but yeah, there's definitely resonances there

Just like today.
